Vertex VLS Ultralight Stove
Used the stand with a Trangia Spirit Burner for 7 days on Isle Royale. We were boiling water so I Never used the simmer ring with the Trangia. When done the Trangia 'snuff' cover easily drops on to stove. After setting the stand up for a few days the locking slots kept slipping and the stove wouldn’t stay ‘locked’ in place. The plates had a developed a slight curve and that seamed to be the problem. The design needs tension to hold the shape. Turned them inside out for the next couple of uses and it 'locked in place again. Loved the size, weight and quick setup.

Vertex VLS Ultralight Stove
Bought to use with a Trangia Spirit Burner with simmer ring. You replace the 'shelf' designed to hold solid fuel tablets with stove; the lip fits into the slots on the panels that make up the stand. The simmer ring opens about 1/4 the way and you need some thing to slide ring to snuff (closed) position because the stand will get hot, any stick will do. Seams study, haven't field tested yet.
