The monkey man fleece interior is incredibly soft and warm while the outer material is more of what you will find on "traditional" fleeces. Sufficient at blocking wind and comes with extras such as draw strings on the waist for a snug fit when needed. I consider the fit to be "normal" as it is not slim nor is it terribly boxy. This fleece is very warm for it's weight, provides a comfortable fit, and is all around a great piece of clothing. My favorite fleece yet!
