Wore these hiking recently on the AT. Evenings/mornings were in the 50's and mid to high 70's during the day. They were a perfect weight for those temperatures. Breath great, shredded water in a light but short rain but also dried quickly after a river crossing. Can't wait to order a couple more pairs. Also, I have worn these just around town with a golf shirt and work well for date night.

I give it 4 stars only because I wish it was a little longer. It sits just below the waist but I was hoping it was a bit longer. I am 5'10" and ordered a large. Was able to test the coat 2 days after it arrived. Moderate rain with 15mph winds with gusts up to 30mph. I was able to get it closed right around my head to keep rain from blowing in. The fit in the arms gave me full range of motion without the jacket riding up on me. When I arrived back to my truck, my torso was bone dry. Over all a fantastic jacket!
