If you're a trail runner, a hiker, a casual glacier walker, or worried about your slippery driveway this winter, these crampons have one major advantage over others: no front points. Eliminating the front points allows me to run without having to do high-knees the entire time. They fit almost all of my shoes and the ultralights are so light that I almost forget that they're there.

I love the dual adjust waistband, it makes centering my gear on my gear loops much easier. This harness is inexpensive, durable, and comfortable. Whether you're sport climbing, rappelling, trad climbing, or multipitch climbing; this harness can get it done.

Between belaying in the cold, Aid Climbing, Ascending ropes, and hauling, my gloves take a ton of abuse. I've loved these gloves for the sheer durability. The reinforced palm makes rappelling a breeze, and the larger wrist loop makes clipping them to your harness easier than comparable models.

I've only used them a handful of time, mostly because micro-fractures that require them aren't that common in my area. But the few times that I've pounded them in, they've held like a dream. Eyelet fits almost any size carabiner.

Whether you're bringing your roommate that doesn't climb or your kid that's growing faster than you can keep shoes on them, the guide is a great option for an extra harness. I personally love that the belay loop is vertical instead of one of the typical horizontal belay loops that are so common in universal harnesses. It allows whoever you're bringing to belay like they would with a regular harness and is a great teaching tool.

This tube belay device is perfect for your everyday belaying and rappelling needs. It's more shallow than other tube devices, which can make single-strand rappels quicker than other ATC's that I've used. But it does the job.

When you're hauling on a big wall or in a rescue situation, there is nothing worse than having your static line twist itself into a useless knot at your progress capture. The swivel is a wonderful tool for allowing your haul bag or load to spin freely and work itself over ledges and roofs.

When you're going to use daisy chains for your big wall, aid climbing, ascending, and general adventures, use these ones. They're ultralight and ultra-strong, easy to fifi hook, and worth every penny.

I previously used the MegaJul Extensively in my climbing. But after using the CT Alpine-Up, I'm never going back. The Alpine-Up has an incredibly intuitive device that can be used as a tuber, a geometric assisted breaking device, or as a rappel device. It's lighter than a GriGri or Birdie and works with both single and half ropes.

The Jammy never leaves my harness. I've used it as a third hand, to pass knots while rappelling, to ascend ropes, to haul light loads, and even as a PAS once or twice. This is an incredibly useful tool for any climber or canyoneer.
