Great for family backpacking

This is a wonderful little kettle for our family of tea and coffee drinkers. The lid fits securely enough to keep out embers, twigs and similar "additions", so that we can set the kettle in the embers and get it boiling in two minutes flat. Hard to improve

We use this set on day hikes, backpacking (one or more nights) and car camping with or without day hikes. Since it's aluminum, it's light and easy to clean. It's well suited to anything you'd normally cook, from beans and wieners to stew to eggs and bacon. Small and durable

We've had one of these for several years, and it's been used by kids and adults of various ages on frequent backpacking trips in the woods. It folds and unfolds easily, and has stood up to a lot of rough use. Its light weight and good spatula size are a definite bonus. Recently purchased another one to use in our "adults' kit".

Long term favorite

I love this little spork. I use it for backpacking and also take it on day hikes and just about anywhere where I cook and or eat. Green may not seem like an ideal colour in the woods, but I solved that problem by tying a piece of orange cord to the end. Fortunately it has a good sized hole for such purposes.
