It was practically brand new and at a great price. Should work as a great sun shelter as canopy can be rotated.

Review for Deuter Fox 40 Pack - Kids

Lid with zippered pocket does not float, but it is intended for youth that can't carry too much weight. The pack is the good size at 40L and has an adjustable harness. Zipper side pockets and lower mesh side pockets. Has all of the adjustments you need to fit it for comfort. Good build. Does have bottom of the pack zippered access but there is no divider inside pack. Not that you need that or want the extra weight. Only bummer would be no hip belt pockets, but for the price you cannot argue one bit.
