Canyon Fever from United States, UT Public Profile
Well built for the price point. Excellent built in harness for easy and quick adjustability with or without a hat underneath. Stylish. What more to say? Luckily didn't really need it for substantial protection so far.
Osprey packs generally are well designed and implemented. This one was no exception. Quality construction and very functional.
I used the main pack for a 55-65 lb load on a recent weeklong trip and it worked very well. Even used the main waisbelt with the lid pouch as a day pack several times.
Durable in general, although be cautious with the small buckles (and large ones, I suppose). I broke on
The 5.10 Canyoneer is thoughtfully designed to handle both the performance needs as well as the abuse of canyoneering.
It handles both very well. Buckles reduce chance of shoestring failure due to rub, hold well even in and out of water. Rubber sole is very sticky especially on redrock/sandstone even when wet. Heel both protects foot as well as serves as functional during canyoneering maneuvering
