Warm, lightweight, and dry.

Written on Nov 23, 2017

Pros:
- Warm
- Lightweight
- Able to pack into its chest pocket.
- It stays drier than other down jacket, I guess due to water-resistant down treatment.
Cons:
- The chest pocket is a little bit too small to pack itself.
- Easier to leak down compared with my GF's Montane down jacket.

A great pack balancing weight and comfort

It is very comfort but at the same time lightweight. However, the 50L version lacks of sleeping pad straps. It would be super great if it has.

Extreme light crampons

Written on Dec 03, 2015

It's very light yet still reliable. I wore it during two snow trekking trips, and it performed very well. However, it's suggested to sharpen this crampons after each trip.

Lightweight, warm, and extremely breathable.

This top is lighter than other fleece ones but warmer at the same time. Very suitable as base-layer and also mid-layer. It brings your sweat to the surface very quickly. On the other hand, if you would like to trap your body heat, just put on your GORE-TEX shell and this will work as an excellent mid-layer.

Reliable 2nd Layer in Damp Weather

Written on Dec 26, 2014

This jacket has stayed in my wish list for a very long time. And finally I own one now.

In Taiwan a typical down jacket get damp easily, so the PrimaLoft insulation is very important in such weather condition. In my point of view, this might be the last line to defense hypothermia in bad weather, especially if one have no sleeping bag in backpack.

I can feel that this jacket didn't catch my body heat as quick as my down jacket, but eventually it would be warm. In colder weather, I'll wear my lightweight down jacket outside this Nano Puff to provide more warmth. And this combination works very well.

By the way, no bird suffers due to this jacket. I'll recommend everyone to have one.

Very good lightweight backpack

Written on Nov 25, 2014

Pros

Very lightweight, only 610g if back panel removed (and replaced with my sleeping pad.) Top compartment is very sweet compared with other lightweight backpacks.

Cons

Shoulder harness is not so comfortable, so I'll consider to add more padding by myself. And the back length is not so fit to me. It would be perfect if there are versions with different back length.
