A little tight

Crux Halo Hooded Jacket - Women's
Weight if fine, ability to tighten hood around the face works well, sleeve elastic is adequate, zipper pulls big enough. Two things that don't work well for me: 1) bottom of the jacket is too narrow, making it extremely tight around hips (size L, 5'8, 175) and tight up to the middle of the ribs. It is a "slim" fit, which doesn't work well for me--can't wear a thick layer under it at all. I'd suggest either elasticized hem and/or a double zipper like Crux uses. 2) Although I bought it because it has a stiffened bill on the hood (and that works quite well when the hood is up), the bill pokes you in the back of the neck when the hood is down. Stiffening material needs to be softer.
Still room for improvements, but not bad at all, not bad!

Review for
Rab Microlight Alpine Jacket - Men's
Seems well enough made. Wish the fill were 800-850; wish the bottom hem were elasticized; wish the zipper were a right-handed zipper. The hood is nicely sized, and the hard brim is especially nice.
