2 days later I noticed that the stitching on the left boot is coming apart. I really like these boots so I repaired them myself by sewing them up using an awl with waxed nylon thread. The way the boots are sewn is definitely a design flaw in my opinion. Other than that I do have one more issue. ..the tread could be a bit more aggressive, kinda hard to get traction in the snow. They are supposed to be casual boots, and they the most comfortable boots I have ever worn, I am 65 years old so have worn a lot of boots, that said, I did put them to the test. They aren't perfect but are very light on your feet and I found them to be very comfortable to wear.
I've been wearing these boots for about 6 days elk and deer hunting in Montana. They are very light and comfortable. They're holding up great so far walking into snow up to 15in, slush, rocks, cactus, nice comfortable boots. I put in about 15 miles bushwhacking with elevation gains up to about 1200 feet. A buddy and I drug out a big mule deer buck last night over mile down the mountainside in the dark.
