Great stackability!

Written on Nov 25, 2018

This is a great set to have around - form and functionality are both perfect! These are beautiful in design and look pretty good for camp dishware. They're made of stainless steel (matte color) and do not need to be coddled. The worst that I've seen happen during use is that there's no insulation if you put hot food in these dishes/bowls and you will see water streaks on these if you don't dry thoroughly. Neither of those things are consequential to my usage.

Low chair without headrest

Written on Nov 24, 2018

I like these chairs. I have a collection of chairs from the well known co-op outdoor store that are equally comfortable. The primary differences are (1) these chairs are twice as expensive; (2) these have a classier look; and (3) these are lower in seat height. If you desire a nicer looking chair and don't mind paying extra money, these are a good option. The drawback to these chairs, for my usage, is that the backing is not high enough to support your head so you cannot use these for naps.

Set Item With SP Chairs

Written on Nov 22, 2018

This table goes well with the SP chairs - color, clean aesthetics, and table height all complement the chairs well. It's why you see this table paired up with the chairs in most of the product advertisements. Aside from using it as a small table to hold drinks at the beach or after school sports events, I like using this with the SP cot as a nightstand at home. Deployment and collapse are a cinch - that makes this table a no-fuss addition to my SP setup.

This is a Behemoth With Limited Uses

Written on Nov 01, 2018

This is comfortable, more so than the other camping cots that I have. It's sturdily built and deployment is not as complex as my other cots. I like the straightforward deployment & collapse process. Build quality and comfort earns this product 5 stars. However, its simplistic design is also a drawback since it doesn't fold down very much in its collapsed configuration. It's large...about 3.5 feet long when folded up. That's almost FOUR FEET LONG! The sturdy design also increases weight, so this cot is a behemoth in the world of camping gear. When put into its storage bag for transport, it's larger than my Kodiak 2p canvas tent and is close to the size of my Kodiak 4p canvas tent. The inconvenient large size and heavy weight earn it a demerit of -2 stars, aggregating to a final 3 stars.

I recommend this if you have a large SUV to lug fancy Snow Peak gear to/fro the camp site. Otherwise, I recommend almost any other cot from other manufacturers PLUS a plush self-inflating sleeping pad. The size/weight/comfort/cost of a cheaper cot + plush sleep pad may be a better alternative for most folks. If you have money to burn and need burly furniture while camping, then go with this.

Great Car Camping Accessory!

Written on Dec 12, 2013

I purchased this item primarily for backpacking usage. I have not had the opportunity to use it for that purpose; however, I did get to use it during my latest car camping trip and loved it. I used this 5L sink to carry water back to the camp site where we used it for general water filtering and even washing purpose. When filled to the brim, I had no issues with the freestanding nature of this
