Living and working in the Arctic, I’ve worn lots of gloves in my life, and dexterity for operating controls on the bush plane, gripping poles when skiing or snowshoeing, gripping an axe while splitting wood, and tying stuff on a pack or sled is always my priority number one... second and close behind is warmth (having numb fingers doesn’t do much for dexterity either!) lastly is durability, (at the price of good gloves nowadays, the throw away option can get pretty speedy!) These RABs are 5 star quality in each category!!!

Finally! A mitten truly warm enough to keep the wife from complaining! Wish i had tried these 20 years ago! On top of the warmth, I can’t believe how comfortable and tough they are! Easy on and off, and the leashes are included so they are easy to keep track of!

Bought these for my son who inherited his moms long fingers with slow circulation to the fingertips. As soon as I put them on I wanted to convince him they were for me instead of him, but I cant get them back from him as they do so well at keeping his fingers warm! Long rides on the chairlift on below zero days are a lot nicer without him complaining of cold fingers, and we make more runs than we used to before he has to go in and warm up! And (FINALLY) I got an answer that keeps him from being miserable when we are ice fishing or waiting on the airplane to warm up so we can fly out to grandpas homestead! WIsh they made an xxl version, I'd be buying another pair! I dont want to say they run small, but they sure dont run big thats for sure! I normally wear a large, sometimes an xl, in these the xl fits my boy fine, but with my fat fingers, I'd kind of prefer a bit larger. None the less, and awesome mitt for staying warm during the alaskan winters!
