Beautiful piece of camping machinery

Written on Mar 01, 2015

Just managed to give this tarp it's first run. It felt extremely well-made and tough, yet light and portable.

The good: Integrated bag is handy; All edges and seams are solid; Tie points are nicely reinforced; Attached guy-ropes are great quality; Looks very cool :-)

The bad: Was surprised it doesn't have eyelets at the corners. Instead it has rings which are great for tying ropes to, but useless for my small lightweight poles. Lost a star for that...

Light, spacious, sturdy: Best 4-person ever!

I was looking for something to replace a 15 year-old tent which had been worn to the ground...

The old one was a 3-person tent with a vestibule which was *really* useful for extra shade and shelter. It was a great tent, but overall a bit small and a bit heavier than it needed to be.

I was surprised how hard it was to find something similar (but larger) that didn't weigh a ton... And then I stumbled across Agnes. I ended up buying the tent plus the optional vestibule and I couldn't be happier. Just got back from a weekend away with my young family and the gear passed all the tests: Extremely well made and designed, quick to set up (with very clear instructions in case you need them), nice and dry, very stable in the wind, plenty of places to tie and hang things (inside and out), and lots of pockets in the walls for keeping pretty much anything.

Very happy with CampSaver who did a price match plus threw in a free footprint. Overall it was well worth the money!
