Lots of venting you can zip down when you get too hot. Has a nice quality feel and looks good on. If you have extremely bulky clothes on this jacket may be difficult to zip up, however, merino wool layers should solve for that and you'll still be toasty warm. Cuts the wind nicely.

Nice, comfortable merino wool underlayer. Has a nice look and feel. Higs in the right places and is not itchy. Zip top is very nice for venting. Nice basic color that blends easily with other layers.
Primarily nylon - Little to no merino wool

This is basically a nylon jacket. I appreciated the weight, fit and the venting. However, there is very little merino used and it is Not a solid color. I got navy and it has some kind of navy camo design on the back and the hood. It was not a very flattering design.

Rab Flux Pull-on Jacket - Womens
This item does not contain merino wool as stated in product info, however it is very warm and the zip neck is nice for temperature control. The sleeves are extra long as it has thumb holes, which is really nice for cold weather, but when it gets warm you have to either fold it into a cuff or scrunch around your elbow. The material does have more of a warm up jacket look, but it can be worn alone. I liked mine given it's outlet pricing.
