Good neck knife

Helle Algonquin Knife
Very well made and sharp. Handle best for medium sized hand. Comes with a very nice sheath, however I give it 4 stars because the keeper that engages the pommel came new with too large a hole so it does not stay put enough to reliably hold the knife in place. Other than that, it makes a nice size neck knife.

Excellent go to outdoor knife
Written on Oct 02, 2016
I have used the Bushcrafter for about a year now and can say that this is my knife of choice for camping/backpacking/hiking. It excels in all uses important to me like preparing kindling and fire starting.......spine is awesome at showering sparks with a ferro rod. It's quality thru and thru, comfortable to grip and heavy duty yet I don't get the feeling it weighs me down. I'll either throw it in my pack or wear it on the belt from the dangler ring built into the sheath(I use a metal key holder which allows easy on/off). The sheath is adequate after a treatment of mink oil. It also holds a ferro rod nicely. To me, it's well worth the price and will outlast me and be handed down.

Gregory J38 Pack
I purchased this backpack for my wife for use on day hiking trips. The quality is like our other Gregory packs.......excellent. The size is spacious enough for even an overnighter. The harness/vented back panel look like they will be comfortable. She loves the purple color!

Nice shape!

Helle Besseggen Knife
The Besseggen is a fantastic knife. At first I was wondering about the unusual shape and how it would feel in the hand. After using it for a while, I'm convinced it's unique design is extremely functional and durable for many many camp/hiking and utility chores. The beautiful wood hardly allows for a firm comfortable grip and the wide strong blade can handle just about anything. The leather sheath has a retention flap that engages the pommel and secures the knife well. It has become one of my favorites.

Review for
Helle Leir Knife
The Helle Leir is a small fixed blade good for people with small to medium sized grip. The blade itself is high quality just like all other Helle's and the birch wood handle is plain and simple. The sheath is quality leather with the Helle emblem embossed in front. Finger guard is effective. Simplicity can be a good thing!

Versatile
Written on Mar 22, 2016
The Farmer knife is perfect for all kinds of camp and hiking activities. I find the alox handles are more sturdy and rugged than the red plastic found on others. I bought two. One to carry and another for an emergency backpack/go bag. I would highly reccomend them. Blade is large enough for meaningful work and sharp. Saw also the same as well as the other implements. Just order one......you will like it!

Helle Lappland Knife
This is a very large and high quality knife. It is scary sharp and very comfortable to handle. The sheath is also well made with a nice design imprinted on it. As with my other Helle knives, I'm very happy with this one.

Review for
Helle Fossekallen Knife
The Helle Fossekallen arrived quickly after I placed the order. It came out of the tube in perfect condition, razor sharp. The curly birch wood handle is beautiful as is the flawless blade. The knife feels very comfortable to grip and is of a size to make it a good general purpose camp/utility blade. I have other Helle knives and have found that the quality is worth the price.
