Great pad! I'm used to thermorest pads with the air and foam but I needed something lighter. It's very light at just over a pound and it doesn't feel like a pool floaty! I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't hold air overnight perfectly and I would have to blow it up every night before going to sleep. It's 2016 everything should be self inflating by now!
It shows the bivy free standing in the photo and it is not. I don't understand why the ties are at the bottom instead of the top so you could tie it out of your face. But for one person summer camping in California it's great, light and keeps the bugs out. I keep my bag and shoes outside because of poison oak so it's roomy sleeping in a mummy bag on a air pad. I sleep on my side but if I slept on my back the bivy would drive me nuts all night touching my face.
