I have the L version of this pack (48L) I've gone on several multi day backpacking trips with this pack (up to 6 days) and don't let yourself be fooled by the 48L of this backpack; there is plenty of room for everything.
On my first trip I had to carry 2 days worth of water for the first couple of days before getting to my first water supply, and I have to say that the water in addition to the gear and 6 days worth of food, got a little bit too heavy on my shoulders.
