I already owned the larger Toor hatchet and was curious about the F13 model, so when it went on sale I snagged one. The grinds are better and more even than on my larger hatchet, but the sheath on the F13 is sloppy and has almost ZERO retention, which could be a major safety issue if I was going to carry this on my pack or plate carrier. Overall, it's a nice compact tool that would be good for breaching, self defense, or just having fun sticking it into things.
I've wanted a Toor hatchet for a while and when I saw these on sale I decided to get one. The size and design are awesome, the quality of the materials is great, but the grinds are so uneven that it should have been sold as a factory second. Given har I paid about half price for it I'm going to keep it, but it's definitely subpar workmanship for a nearly $400 hatchet.
My daughter is big into Vans and not as much into hiking as I am, so I bought these for her to try to interest her more in going on short hikes with me. She really likes the color and says they're very comfortable. We've only done a couple of easy hikes so far, but they're holding up and don't look like typical hiking boots which is important for my daughter.
