I was lucky enough to give the Voormi Falline Jacket a go for a couple weeks. There is nothing like this out there and in this case that is a VERY cool thing. The CORE CONSTRUCTION Technology is super innovative and makes for a jacket with midlayer feel, but softshell weather protection.
I took it hiking to Zion National Park over Spring break. It was windy and cold in the morning. Everyone in my group was struggling with the chill, but I didn't even notice. It even rained a little and I stayed warm and dry! In the afternoon the sun showed it's face and it quickly warmed up. While those in my group were peeling off layers and having to pack them out, the fabric on the Falline was so breathable I didn't need to remove it.
I had a lot of fun sticking my arm under spouts and showing people how the fabric shed the water. Not to mention that every time I wore it people commented on how good it looked. Voormi knows what it's doing with the style and attention to detail on it's pieces. I'm very excited about the new things they're doing for Fall/Winter 16/17 with this CORE CONSTRUCTION.
