This tent is incredible!

Written on Jul 13, 2017

Ive now taken this through the Presidential range and finger lakes trail for 6 nights total. Super hard rains all night left us completely dry! And with no condensation! How? The rainfly does not touch the tent mesh. If you guy out all the lines the venting is superb. The inside is cozy and the mesh provides an open feel. The sides of the mesh towards the bottom of the tent are covered offering some privacy when laying down. The tent is long with ample head and foot space (i am 5'8"). I love how their are mesh pockets up above your head to stash stuff yet doesn't impact the view. The light is amazing of course...nuff said. The rain fly is plum and white and very pleasant. In fact all the colors are cheery.
Share this with a partner and its very light. I don't think you need the footprint BUT campsaver gave me a free one! So I did use. I shared the tent with my son therefore the weight was negligible.
One thing... you can roll the fly partially over the tent to keep it partially on... that way if a storm comes in, jump out and move it down. 2 vestibules are amazing with 2 doors. The zipers are top notch. You can move the unzipped mesh door into a loop that keeps it open. Cool idea. You can also vent by unzipping the fly doors from the top down if you need to.
I have only great things to say. 200 bucks! Compared to the lighter tent by Agnes (the orange one) this tent maybe is one more pound yet half the cost. Share it with another and its super light. AMAZING!
