These are the best cold-weather fleece-backed pants I found. I wore them by themselves on long hikes in temperatures between 10 and 15 F, and never felt cold. I ordered two more, in the next size (I'm an XS, which they were out of); the S proved to be larger than I thought, more like a M; keep this in mind if this would disturb you (it didn't disturb me). I'll wear them to death:-)!!!

After trying some other brands that didn't at all answer my needs, I finally found the tights I was looking for! They are thick enough to wear by themselves on, say, a long hike, or cross country skiing in very cold weather. (I took mine on their maiden expedition a couple of days ago - a three hour hike in 12 degrees F and windy! - and they did exceptionally well). They are very soft on the inside, silky-feeling on the outside, stretch well, leave you free to move. LOVE them!!!!

Like all Mammut products I bought over the years, this one is truly excellent, and I am very glad that CampSaver carries this brand. The Go Dry Longsleeve is a wonderful light, thin, base layer, that actually keeps one dry (unlike other brands that claim they do, but don't...) I use mine as a base layer for outdoor activities in cold weather, and found that it also works beautifully as a gym shirt by itself for people who sweat a lot, like myself. A great product!

I hesitated a lot before starring this product; they are good tights, and, as just tights, I would haven given them 5 stars, but they are definitely NOT suitable for cold weather, in spite of the brushed, thin fleece-like insides (except, perhaps, for a short run). In fact, they kept me colder than my usual tights, as they give absolutely no protection for wind. If you want a pair of nice tights, nothing special, go for it; but if you are looking for fleece-backed tights to wear in cold weather, I definitely don't recommend!

I have been a fan of Mammut products for many years, and am very happy that I can get them in this country nowadays. The GoDry is a thin, light base layer that does, indeed, keep one dry. I gave it a brutal try-out at the gym - and it worked wonderfully, as it did later on a long and cold hike. Love it! I'll get one more. (Or maybe even two?)

Over the years, I bought a number of Mammut products in Switzerland, before they were ever available in the US; they are the best I ever had. This jacket lived up to my expectations too - I first ordered one, to see if the size was right, then went on and ordered another one. It is light, comfortable, warm, can be worn either next-to-skin or as a mid-layer, wicks moisture away from the body, and the trim makes it look cheerful too (doesn't harm!) I LOVE it! and I'm glad this outlet carries Mammut.

All Mammut products I have used are excellent - in fact, about the best I know. This Polar-Tec Light mid-layer (but it can be used as a thermal first layer as well) is just as excellent, very light, very comfortable, moisture-wicking, warm - and cheerful-looking with the combination red/raspberry/orange at the zipper, cuffs and hem. I ordered one first, to make sure the size was right, then ordered a second. If you are not very tall, they will run a bit long; I had to shorten mine, but it was definitely worth the work! And I will definitely return to CampSaver, I was very happy with their service.
