After wearing down my first Solomons with satisfaction, I decided I'll stick to them for the second pair for my peak bagging hikes around San Gabriels. Right out the box I hiked a few miles up a steep ridge and into snow, they didn't give me any problems
Not overbearing, just the right amount of weight and rigidness

my first winter boots were a pair of Asolo Makalu GV and it just didn't fit me right...it was heavy and rigid, not very comfortable. These boots feel so much better and lighter. I'm glad with my purchase and it's priced very well!

Just got my pack and I really like it, lover the hip belt pockets, easy to reach side pocket, comes with a rain cover, section to keep your crampons, loops for poles and axe, looks like the perfect overnighter pack and I'll be putting it to good use!
