I upgraded from 2017 nomics to these, and the combo of the adjustable grip rest and the pur ice picks make it swing and stick a lot easier. These are my go to for vertical ice. The dagger and hammer are nice additions too. I wouldn't have wanted to take my old nomics on any alpine climbs, but these adjustments would make it more feasible.
These pants have been great for fall ice climbing and general mountaineering in the Cascades. They are light weight, slim fitting, stretchy, and have pockets that are accessible even with a climbing harness on. The pockets have zippers, and the belt on the pants is well designed. You can fit base layers under these pants even though they aren't baggy. The only feature I'd say would add to the pants would be a built in gaiter type thing around the ankle (or a patch of thicker abrasion resistant material) like some of my other ice climbing pants have to protect from crampons.
