Different kind of shirt, but like it

Written on Jun 28, 2016

I purchased the white shirt in Medium and black one in small, and small is best. I would say go with size you normally wear, I am a 34 chest, and usually wear smalls. The white is also fairly see through, I would not be comfortable wearing it without a tank top or something underneath it. The buttons are are rubbery texture which is nice, but makes it much harder to button on or off. Haven't washed them yet, but I expect them to come out fine. Nice and lightweight.

The fit is great

I have become a Kuhl fanatic recently and have bought a few different pants of theirs. Fell in love with the Splash roll ups and bought 2 of them, then tried the Kendra style and found these in the Raven color on sale. I wasn't at first sure about the waistband, but I think this style is my favorite of the three. I really like the tapered leg, and the zippered pocket on the front. It still doesn't completely fit an iPhone6, but I can deal with that. Wish they had more colors in the Durango style like they do with the Splash. I wear a size 6, 5'7", 125 lbs, and the 6 in Splash, Kendra and Durango all seem to be identical.

Grab this jacket while you can!

Written on Feb 10, 2016

I saw the Lena trench coat in Astral blue in a store and loved it! But it was too small, and as cute as the trench coat aspect of it was, I didn't want one that long. Then I saw this one, a shortened version of it. Plus, this is a great price on it. The attention to detail is amazing. The decorative stitching, the fancy button closures. The zipper is smooth. Pockets galore, with snaps AND zippers. As for sizing. In general, I am a small in tops, 34-36 chest, but this Lena style is a slimmer fit all around, so the medium works for me, otherwise the shoulders would definitely be too restricting in a small. The sleeves are plenty long enough, and can even be unsnapped to roll up once if need be. The Astral blue color is a deep blue/purple, with a lighter shade of it used on the stitching, and a coordinating pink stitching near the zipper that can't be seen when the jacket is closed. I am definitely not one to spend a lot of money on clothes, but after seeing this jacket in person, I coveted it! Well made, stylish and functional.
