Just completed a 8.4 mile loop, but on non-technical ground. These shoes felt comfortable, and secure footbed. I would prefer a different, tighter lacing system, however. The top grip loops are a bit difficult to secure. Otherwise, Hoka makes a great shoe, and these felt like they could take on a more technical terrain.

Lightweight, and I especially like the handles, as most duffels make them too long. Cool color as well, and roomy enough for many items! I've found that shoes fit comfortably in side zippered compartment and zippers are great!

Marmot did it right here, folks!! Warm and packs down small; yes, the zipper can be a bit difficult but if you use it carefully, no worries. Took this on the JMT during last summer and at 5’7”, the Regular was awesome!

I have another Bjorn Daehlie jacket that has great features, and this one is on exception. Quality stitching, adjustable waist with cinch ties, and a easy to use zipper. It's lightweight enough for running, and has plenty of pockets to hold tissues or keys. I only rated it a four star as the sizing appears off; I ordered a small, and it fits more like a medium. I believe it is advertised as a " relaxed fit, " but believe it needs to fit closer to a size small. Otherwise, very much recommend!

I generally really like the quality of MH product, and this jacket has some nice features with external zipper and pockets. However, I gave it four stars because the outside zipper is fairly useless with a backpack, as the shoulder straps don't allow for access. Also, and the main reason I had to return this is that a size small fits like a medium. Even compensating for the " stretchdown " aspect, the shoulders and arms were big on me in a size small. I'm 5'7", 36 chest.

I waited four weeks for this to arrive from England! This is a super warm and well built pad!! The Windsock took a bit (okay, two minutes) to get the hang of it, but works well to inflate with about 3-4 repeats. Not a lightweight pad, but if you are a COLD sleeper like me, or do winter backpacking, it is so worth packing! Fabric appears very durable and is a quiet pad!! No Thermarest crinkle noise here!! Highly recommend!!

This is my second set of these UL weight stakes. They are great for SoCal backpacking, where most of the soil is dirt. However, I would not suggest using them in rocky, or shale conditions, as they are more likely to break. Also, I would not suggest using a rock or hammer to drive them in, as the top plastic head will not stand that abuse. I use a mix of Ti stakes and these.

I purchased this SD Nitro after a rather cold night in the Los Padres NF. I knew I was a cold sleeper, but wanted something that would work in colder temperature. My Enlightened Equipment 20 degree Revelation wasn't keeping me warm enough. This bag has lots of room, and I really like having a full bag for cold nights! The foot box that is self-sealing is a real plus. I haven't tried it yet on the trail, but will update this review when I have field tested it.

Like other reviewers, I've tried many pads: was almost going to keep my Therma-Rest Neo-Air X-therm, great insulation, but too noisy and not as comfortable as the NEMO. This is a great, warm pad, and is the most comfortable compared to the noisy Therma-Rest and Big Agnes, and ExPed. I truly believe for the value, and incredible warmth, this is the best pad out there. Although NEMO does not provide R-ratings, this kept me warm down into the low 30's in the Santa Monica mountains using my Enlightened Equipment Revelation quilt. I was colder in early morning, but put on a thermal shirt that did the trick. Easy to inflate, and weighs less then their new pad with release valve and foot pump.

Only used this once so far on a long day hike, but the shoulder harness, waist belt fit and design feels good and snug. I love the access cubby under the pack, since this pack has no side pockets to store a water bottle, or other trail desirables, it works well. Salomon put a lot of thought into this pack, and I don't think you will be disappointed. Not the lightest pack out there for a 30 liter, but I believe the weight sacrifice is well worth it.
