Hoka Kaha GTX Hiking Boots - Men's
An excellent take on the lightweight hiking boot. If you've ever had to slog miles wearing heavy mountaineering boots, you won't believe how light these are. I can't attest to their durability, as their construction makes them only a single /shoulder season boot and they required no break-in period whatsoever. Your feet WILL get wet if you wear these in wet conditions or bushwack through marshes or tall grass, but they dry quick.
The weakest link in these is the lacing system. After fussing with where to tuck the unruly mess of laces and trial & error cinching, I threw away the stock laces and put in elastic laces with cord locks which work much better and faster. The other gripe is the insoles are pretty rigid and get slick with sweat.

Super comfortable and nice & light

I bought the Anacapa Mid GORE-TEX Hiking boot because I felt they would be perfect for hiking across the Grand Canyon. The boots did not really need any breaking in, but I did not know that and I hiked in them almost every day for about 6 weeks while getting myself in shape for the Canyon. The boots loosened enough that I had to lace them fairly tight in order to keep my toes from jamming on long downhill stretches.

I had flat feet issue and my orthopedic recomend me this brand and he was right, comfort, support and super light weight. Recommend to everyone.Lots of standing water from the snow, and the grassy terrain of my yard. They've held up to all of these things with ease. Very grippy, very comfortable all throughout the shoe.

For the money, this is absolutely the coolest little hiking stove you can buy. It’s also very easy to use. For the bucks, I don’t see how you can do any better than this. It’s small, it packs away very nicely in the case, and it does exactly what it was made to do. It boils water and cooks food. Hands down, this is the best stove dollar for dollar.

This thing is very nice and lightweight for backpacking. I 100% recommend this camp stove. One thing that i would have done differently is use some silicone boots over the portion of the pot grabber that touches the pot because the aluminum pot grabber scratches the anodized aluminum surface on the inside and outside of the pot.

The flame held well in moderate/heavy wind (haven’t been in super strong wind yet). The burner has a nice concave to help with wind. The build quality is very nice. Mine works with all the cylinders I tried including Coleman’s which some people had problems with. Mine came with the removable 4 flex pot supports which attach and remove nicely. Also included is a small carrying bag. The fuel adjustment is also very nice and adjusts smoothly between high and low. Mine has been very reliable. I prefer this over most micros I don’t mine the extra weight if it gets me feed fast and on my way.
