These pants are exactly as described, and bring along the high quality I've come to expect from Mountain Hardwear! I took them on with me for an extended (10 day) backpacking trip through the Swiss Alps and they held up through rain and snow, keeping me warm and dry. Have to love that all of their pockets can be zippered close for the extra security, and the fit and flexibility is spot on. They are also fantastic for traveling through cold weather and airports, as they will keep you warm. Would highly recommend!
Waist tends to run a bit bigger, so I typically order 1-2 inches smaller than my normal, and length maybe one size larger so that it will cover my high top boots.
This is midweight and long sleeve, so not the best choice for hot summer hikes, but perfect for any other time!

Love the athletic fit - I am 5'10 160 and this is a perfect fit for my V cut. Absolute perfect as a baselayer for winter play!

Marmot Quasar Jacket - Mens
Recently traveled to Denver, CO and hiked up Longs Peak (a 14'er). All I had was this Quasar plus a Marmot Precip - stayed warm throughout without a second thought! Lightweight and packs into its own pocket ~ what else can you ask for?! Highly recommended (I am 5'9, 160lb, athletic build and the "small" fits well; the team red looks great too!)

Jet Boil Flash PCS Java Kit
I am a novice at camping and backpacking, but I used this for the first time on a recent camping trip and it worked wonderfully. We were only ~3500 ft up but on the edge of a cliff and it was super windy but this got the water boiling super quickly! On top of that its such a treat to have the color-changing temperature-sensitive insulator so you don't have to open up the top to check to see if it's boiling or not (especially in low-light conditions like at night). It's also very convenient that you can adjust the power of the flame! Highly recommend taking along this convenient unit if you can spare the space!
