I own a Therma-rest luxurylite cot and while I do like it when I saw this cot, it looked beefier and the weight between one and the other was comparable. I have used this cot once now and it definitely is beefier than the luxury light. The side poles are thicker and the cot feels more solid. The support legs are also sturdier. This all comes at a price though. While the weight difference (at least on paper, I have not verified by weighing them both) is minimal, the luxurylite packs into a much smaller bundle and easier to carry on a backpack. I enjoy my comfort even when backpacking and I do carry my luxurylite with me. I don't see myself doing the same with this cot because it would take quite a bit more space in my pack. I will continue to use it but only when I go car camping and leave the luxurylite for my backpacking outings.
I really love this jacket. The material does a great job of keeping the rain out and you can even see the rain bead up on the outside as it repels the rain. It also breathes fairly well so you don't get drenched in sweat. I really like the stiff portion of the brim which serves kind of like a ball cap bill to hold the hood out and over your face. The hood adjustments work well with one in the back and one at each bottom front end of the hood. It has enough room to wear over a helmet or just adjust small enough to fit your bare head. The material is a little crinkly but as with a lot of these waterproof materials that is par for the course. Extremely happy with my purchase, especially since I only paid $137 for it on excellent sale. Now that I have it, I would say it is definitely worth over $250 based on the quality compared to other similar jackets.
