Fjallraven Kanken Daypack
I moved from a more technical day pack to the Kanken to use every day and as a travel pack. I wasn't sure I like it -- with it's minimal features. But it really is true that simpler is sometimes better. I think the key feature for me is that it opens so fully, making finding all the bits n bobs I shove in it easier to get back out again.

I am a hippy, pear-shaped athletic mom (so not young) who has stayed far away from fitted, skinny, twiggy, itsy jeans/pants for decades. But these pants somehow work for me. And they are super comfortable and allow me to keep up with my active kids in all our outdoor adventures. I plan to buy another pair in a second color.
