MSR Pole Repair Splint
If you own an msr tent or any tent with aluminum poles this splints are a must. The are made from the same aluminum material of the poles and will save your tent on the field if anything happen to one of the poles. This is not a permanent solution but it will save the trip. Beside the weight almost nothing.

They are a bit filmsy but they do the job. They lock well into place and fold to have more space in your backpack. What I really like about them is that they fit inside your mugs. If you already have msr insulated mugs they will fit inside your kit but if not the will fit must mugs. They are plenty of options out there so pick the one that fit your needs the most.
