I've been using this model of shoes for some time. They are great but this year's model appears to be running tighter. I've had to upgrade to a wide shoe to compensate for the tighter toe box. Otherwise, these guys hold up to a beating on the trail!

I've been reluctant to purchase due to expense of the unit plus the subscription. However, has been worth every penny. Makes my wife feel much better getting periodic updates when I'm in the backcountry with the kids for multi-night stays. Pairs seamlessly with my iPhone for custom messages. LOVE IT!

Scarpa Mistral GTX Boots - Men's
Love my old Scarpa GTX boots. These one's "broke in" easier they are too tight in the toe box. I ended up with blisters on the big toes (never in all my week long trips have I had a blister) and both of my 4th toe toenails developed subungal hematomas. Painful week. Otherwise they seemed like good boots - something changed in their shoe molds because they don't fit like their old ones!
