My daughter did not get to use them because they were to small for her. I had to return them but she loved them when she saw them and managed to squeeze her foot in. They seemed comfortable and she said the same.

Chaco Z1 EcoTread Sandal - Youth
My son's feet got a few cuts/scapes on his feet. The strapping may not be recommended. Chaco has double strapping, those might be best. I ordered my daughter chacos with double strapping, will find out soon.
