I wear a large glove. I ordered XL, but literally could not get my hands into these. My wife, who has a medium hand could get them on butt hey were tight. I'd say that the XL is about a small in most people's reckoning. Hard to say much else about them as we could not use them; they *look* pretty.
I've received but not tried these yet but wanted to comment on sizing. Many folks say that RAB is "euro" sizing and so run small. These pants are true to size, I would say. The 34" is a generous 34" (and too big for me) and the length is also full (32" or more). The relaxed fit is about the width of the legs and butt, I think, which is also generous. I would recommending erring on the smaller side to get a good fit
The classic. We've used this as our go-to stove for 22 years - summer, winter, rain or shine. Never fails; impossible to break it, robust as a tank. Design hasn't changed - why should it? If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
And fuel (regular denatured alcohol from the hw store) costs next to nothing.
The only downside is that Alcohol is slightly less efficient weight wise, so this does not make the lightest option out there, but for most uses, it's a winner.
