I was a little worried when I read some reviewers that had broken flicklocks out of the box, but took a chance and I'm glad I did. I hike a lot and have always used dept. store poles. While those worked fine,I decided to treat myself after my last hike rendered another pair useless. (I'm tough on equipment) These poles are the real deal ! Quality at a great price !!!
