This isn't a technical jacket. It's reasonably windproof, sheds a bit of water, and breathes ok, but I didn't get it for that. It looks great, fits great, feels durable, and is comfortable. It's a fashion piece that leans towards the outdoor side of things, but I wouldn't use it for anything intense outdoors at all. And that's what I was looking for, a black, canvas-ish, light jacket that looks good with anything.
The G1000 lite is barely distinguishable from regular G1000, except for a ripstop square pattern. Dark gray color is basically one shade lighter than black. Fit through the body is slim. Arms are cut very long and a little baggy, but I washed and dried it very hot, and it shrunk a bit. Pockets are nice and roomy, but zippers are a little cheap feeling.
5'10, 155lbs, size small fits about like an Arcteryx medium. I'd recommend sizing down one. Great jacket, very pleased with how it looks and fits.
