GM9 from United States, MO Public Profile

Bought these for an upcoming trip to Iceland. Needed some quality, heavy-duty, waterproof boots and these fit the bill. My daughter has had a pair for quite a few years and they have worn really well and I expect this pair to do the same.

I have only about 25 miles on them so far but they have been great. After about 5 miles, they were broken in with no hot spots. Fit is good for my foot which is pretty skinny but they don't move around and heel stays tight. The sole is very stiff but that is what I was looking for. The construction quality is top notch. I ordered my normal size of 11.5 and sizing was perfect. My only very minor complaint so far is they squeak, particularly the right boot, where the leather on the tongue meets the leather on the inside of the cuff. I'm sure it will go away as they break in further and if not, it's not big deal. You know they are good boots when you have to look that hard to find something "wrong".

I would definitely buy these again and convinced my wife to get a pair also.

The Marmot Precip is just a very good basic rain jacket. While it doesn't breathe as well as much more expensive jackets not is it as light but it will keep you dry at a great price point. It does have pit zips to help dump heat if you need to do so and if you're just looking for an everyday jacket to keep you dry, you can't beat it.

Really like these socks for a nicer look. They are thin but yet very comfortable and they look very nice. They are very lightweight so fit well with dress shoes. They wear VERY well and of course have the Darn Tough guarantee.

Like the belt. The belt material is very similar to a baseball belt or old school football belt. Has a pretty good amount of stretch but is strong enough to support your pants. Very comfortable to wear. Only downside with design is that it's a little tough to thread through your belt loops but that's a minor thing. We'll see how well it holds up, buckle seems to be a little fragile but maybe it will be OK. I'm a bigger guy, wish it were slightly longer. It fits but not much extra room.

Love the Smarwool underwear. The fabric is really soft yet is pretty darn durable. My Smartwool ones have last much longer than the Icebreakers and are more comfortable. Best thing about wool is no stink, especially if you are working hard. The inseam is a little longer on the Smartwool also which works well for a guy like me with bigger thighs. Although I would like them to be just a touch longer. The new waistband is slightly more comfortable than the old one for me.

Highly recommend if you can afford the price.

Got these as a gift for me son who is away at college. They are very lightweight, flexible enough to be everyday boots in the winter, drive in them, etc. They have been completely waterproof so far according to him. Can't be beat for the price.

SmartWool products are always great but I especially like these socks. Just tall enough for low top hikers, a little bit of padding in the right spots and thin and venting everywhere else. Plus the great comfort of wool. Also the price was good.
