Soto Amicus Stove
I decided to give this stove a try to replace an older, slightly heavier canister stove I have had for several years. The Amicus generally received high praise for its wind resistance, without even needing a screen. I have only been able to use it a handful of times for a few short trips so far, but at this point I am impressed and have had no issues with the flame; seems to heat as well as one would expect, but will have to wait and see if it can genuinely deny high wind situations. Initial impression is good however, and it seems very well built.

Sea to Summit Ultra-Fine Mesh Headnet
This is a fantastic head net, I appreciate how fine the mesh is so it will keep out the smallest flying critters. It is also very lightweight so I imagine it will be in my pack for any trip where bugs may be out in force.
