Cool chair BUT.......

Written on Apr 06, 2019

I'd been eyeing this chair for a year. In fact when I ready to purchase they were unavailable. As it turned out they were temporarily pulled from the market I later found out. That's good when it's about making the product better than they were. Then I finally was able to order two. One for my wife and one for me. They came quickly and I was excited to try it out. The chairs are very well made. They used top of the line materials and care was taken in the construction. BUT in order to sit comfortably you must be a narrow person and at least 5'5'' to fit comfortably in the chair. My wife is 4'11" and the chair was difficult to get in and out of and hard to get it to recline. The chair was not comfortable in her lower back. For me I am 6' and have broad shoulders and large thighs. When I sat I felt smooshed in with my arms having to rest in my lap. There was no real comfortable way to relax my arms. And the design for the drink holder was ridiculous. It sat half covered by my left leg, so whatever I had in it would be slightly slanted and pushing up against my leg. Not very comfortable. It felt great for my back and I had no trouble reclining. Actually the reclining gave me a place to rest my arms although they were elevated like I was in a body cast. So the net thought and experience is if your short not going to be a good fit and if you are large not good either. I guess this is for the "Goldie Locks" person. Medium to tall but slender shoulder width. T
