This is a very high quality, light weight fleece jacket. It has a full length YKK zipper with fleece baffle to keep out the drafts. The fleece is very soft inside and out. I ordered the medium which was perfect for my 5'8", 160 pound frame. I'd say it is an athletic fit- no extra material. That is especially nice if you are putting a jacket or windbreaker over it. Stitching is excellent. Two zippered hand pockets to keep gloves or such in.
