I bought this shirt to fill in the gaps between warm Summer climbing and the onset of cooler weather in the Fall. It fills the need for activities in cooler weather as a layer or as a stand alone jacket. Works well under a wind breaker for bike rides in the cooler Fall weather down to the mid 30's. This is the third one I have purchased because I like everything about it including the fit which for me 5'7" 155lbs is a medium. It is snug but the size medium works best for me as a base layer. My chest is 40 inches so it is on the snug side of the medium size for me. I also bought one that is Large size and it works great if I want to wear it on top of a light short or long sleeve base layer. I will be acquiring an additional Large one soon>

Rab Infinity Endurance Jacket - Men's
This is state of the art in keeping warm in wet and cold outdoor adventure. I use it hunting and it is perfect for puttin on at the end of a hard day of hiking and climbing. I use it under a shell to keep warm when I stop and need to stay warm. Very light---you don't even know you are carrying it.
