It works. Pure and simple.
We use the 'Droms' for kayak camping where we need to carry lots of water for multiday trips. With the Spigot Cap it's so easy to set up a gravity dispenser for camp cooking/chores.
Well made just like all MSR products.

Love the fit, the pockets, the concept but this jacket will NOT STOP SHEDDING. The shedded fabric has stuck to everything. This even after a mild washing and a no heat tumble dry. I had a camera around my neck and when I looked down the eye piece was completely covered. The top part of my pants covered. When I got out of the car and looked back the seat was covered!! What is worse I purchased the R3 Hoody in the bright red color and the shedding really sticks out on khaki pants, black car seats.
I've owned many Patagonia garments over the years. This is the first time I've ever had anything like this occur.....so maybe this was not a true Patagonia product? Grey market? That or something seriously went wrong in production and guaranteed wrong in Quality/Assurance.
My advice is to avoid the R3 Hoody.
Now my question is do I deal with Campsaver for resolution or go directly to Patagonia?
