Got it on outlet sale, good value. Simple and effective, head seems very strong. Got a bit lucky with my size (65cm) being cheaper than the others, so I guess that would be my only gripe. Will attach my own leash.
Great midweight down jacket

Couldn't pass it up at $72 with coupon. It works great for me; I usually don't like getting super high end stuff because they tend to prioritize weight over durability, so this feels more useable to me. Generous cut may not be for everyone – it's not as slim fitting as other OR jackets, but I like the ability to layer. Packs nice and small, and quite warm since the baffles are so big. I guess it's somewhat less aesthetic than jackets with tighter baffles, but who cares? Hood fits well, stash pockets should be standard on every jacket, I'm not sure why more don't include them, it's just a piece of cloth.

Jansport Klamath 65 Backpack
Got this when it was closing out, so a steal at $72. Very durable, and plenty of space for most adventures. The grab handles on the back are especially useful if you need to toss it around when traveling. Side access is useful, and the various straps and attachment points make it easy to lash things on. Shoulder straps and back are comfortable and adjustable. Only wish was that the hipbelt pocket would be larger, and on both sides (only right side has one), and that it would include a raincover, but these are minor gripes. I've mostly used it at half to 3/4 load, so unsure about how it's like when super heavy. It feels rugged though, and gives more confidence than most other packs I've used. Overall an excellent purchase, sad it was discontinued. Always look for those closeout deals!

Got this for under $100 with coupon. It packs down quite small for a synthetic bag, and it's nice that it comes with the mesh storage bag. I've combined it with a standard fleece bag and slept in about -10C wearing long johns, so pretty good there too. Footbox is roomy.
