This is a good way to carry your water, provided that you only need a Liter of it. Probably best serves as a back up to a larger water bladder.

This is a much more than the average backpacker needs to prepare a meal. That being said, the extras can enable you to take your backcountry cooking to the next level. All of it was easy to clean and easy to use. The little details are nice too, such as the mesh upper compartment so your towel or sponge don't get too funky. While near impossible to pack back down to the condition in which it arrives from the factory, this is a solid survival bivvy in all other respects. While I don't imagine it would keep you exceedingly warm, I do imagine that it would help to keep you alive through the night in a situation that would require its use.
