This was by far the best feeling rain jacket I have ever put on. The stretch fabric feels amazing, and doesn't feel like a rain jacket at all. Not clammy, not crinkly, collar falls flat when not zipped, breathes well, and packs down small. Unfortunately I didn't care for the fit of the jacket at all. Quite baggy overall, especially in the sleeves. I'm 5'10, 175lbs and bought the medium. Normally Mountain Hardwear stuff fits me much snugger. Even occasionally to snug in size medium. Thought about keeping it but the bigger draw back is the hood. With only two adjustment points to cinch the hood down toward the face, and no adjustment to pull the brim of the hood toward the back of head. This means no matter what I tried I could not get the hood fitted correctly where it would not obstruct my vision and still provide rain protection for my face. I returned the jacket and was disappointed to not find another MH jacket with the same stretch fabric. If they made it with a slimmer fit and a better hood I think it would be perfect.
I bought two of these. The xx-small, to put camera lenses in, it will hold my 50x250mm no problem, and the x-small to put my canon DSLR in. The sizes are about perfect and they weigh next to nothing. Note these are waterproof with taped seams, but the cord closure is not waterproof. You wouldn't want to submerge these or trust them to in a downpour. I got these as a little insurance in case I
