I purchased these boots for my trip to the Grand Canyon June 7-13/2015. I used them twice before the trip but I found the break in period was ok since I had no issues with the fit. When I started hiking I found the boots very stable and light. The first day I was at the south rim is poured and no moisture enter the boots. The second day I did the Bright Angle trail to Indian Gardens and returned to the top. Going down and up the trail the boots gave me a secure feeling. I did sweat in the boots but I guessed that to be expected. I'm glad I purchased these boots, I wish they were available in Canada even though the shipping from Campsaver was very fast. TY
