I have the medium fire pit. I bought it to carry to friend's houses and such for cookouts. The medium is much smaller than you think, but can hold a great little fire. I recommend getting a propane screw-on torch to start a fire using this pit. Due to the funnel shape, the tinder or fire starter is hard to reach with a lighter or match. The torch is a must. Looking forward to buying the grill attachment
