Rab Valiance Jacket - Men's
I have only used it for dog walks to date, but this jacket is incredibly warm and completely waterproof. I have worn it with thin t-shirts every outing and I have been comfortably warm each time. This morning (Dec. 7, 2020) it was 23 F and once again I had no more than a light t-shirt on. I was toasty! I have also stood under dripping spots coming off my roof and every drop hit, beaded, and rolled off. I am very excited to use this as my ice climbing belay jacket! I will try to update this once/if I have that chance this ice season.
For reference, I am 5'7", 173 lb., 42" chest, and slightly longer than average arms. I order a large to allow me to layer under the jacket. I have put a Patagonia quilted mid-layer and a base layer on under this jacket and it fits PERFECTLY, with enough room to move without restriction.
