Just came back from a camping trip and the Puffin Blanket was really great. I used it in Hawai‘i (80 degree weather) with a hammock and it was nice because it was the perfect temperature and it didn't accumulate dirt or sand.
this jacket isn't cheap by any means but it is well designed, light, packs small, and is water proof. it is perfect for tropical weather where we mainly need to be dry, not necessarily warm.
I've bought this pack as a follow up to another pack I purchased. After taking the other pack out on a long hike I realized it really didn't suit my needs all that well. I looked around and luckily I found the Kajka pack. It is really well designed, well made, and adaptable. The ability to use it as a top loader but easily access the things on the bottom without having to take everything else on top is great. You just unzip the front of the pack and everything's accessible. The ability to adjust the frame based on your torso and shoulder width is awesome. That way on a long hike you can make sure it'll be as comfortable as possible. There are nice sized pockets that are easily accessible. It seems that they are in the same place as others but they just work better. The loops on the zippers make it much easier to find the zipper and open the pockets and things like the water bottle holders on the side are well thought out. There are several ways to use them and they don't require you to have yoga-like dexterity to put the bottle back. The material is great because it feels like something that will last you for a very long time. This pack isn't cheap by any means but having bought another cheaper pack and then realizing I should've spent the money on a better pack, I wish I just bought this pack in the first place. It's never great to realize that when you're in the middle of a hike. Get this and let it enhance instead of detract from your outdoor adventure.
This is my first Salomon shoe and I'm very impressed. I enjoy the lace system and the snug fit while hiking as it feels very sturdy. I'm still breaking the shoe in but am looking forward to using it for several years to come!
The ENO ProNest Hammock is a great purchase. You can use it to while you hang out at the beach during the day or take it backpacking (instead of a tent) to keep your weight down. The product is made well and coupled with the pro straps, it is a trusted part of my camping collection.
