Used this tent on a recent weeklong trip to the Wind River Range. We experienced unseasonably cold weather and a lot of rain, wind, snow, and ice. The tent performed as good as could be expected but its light weight does come with some trade offs. Most importantly, the tent kept all water out during sustained periods of heavy mixed precipitation. It held up fairly well to persistent winds but did occasionally buckle under strong gusts. I experienced more than expected condensation on the interior of the fly, but the cold temperatures may have been a contributor to this problem as well. The light weight, and the fact that this tent is not "freestanding", made set-up slightly more difficult than other tents that I own, particularly in strong winds.
Overall, I am generally satisfied with this tent after a trip that probably maxed out its intended use. As mentioned above, the light weight seems to compromise the sturdiness and ease of use a bit, but it certainly performed well enough in less than ideal conditions. Also, I feel that the footprint is a must considering the lightweight materials.
