Mystery Ranch Gallagator 10 Pack
Mystery Ranch makes high quality, well designed packs. I looked at a lot of daypacks before deciding on the Gallagator 10 pack. It’s the perfect size for its intended you (forays on the local groomed xc ski trails. It holds a water bottle, extra hat and gloves, ski glasses, an energy bar, extra wax, etc.). Feels like nothing on your back. Highly recommend.

Icebreaker Crush II Pants - Women's
These pants really are just what I wanted for cold weather. First I ordered a medium so I could layer. Icebreaker sizing is usually a gamble for me. The medium pants were huge. Back they went for a size small which fit perfectly except that the crotch was so low that the pants were uncomfortable. Not worth the money so back they went. If you have a really long torso these might work
Soft Smartwool Baselayer

This is the perfect baselayer for skiing - or just about any outdoor activity. It is very soft against the skin and definitely does NOT absorb odors. My husband now has two.

The Super DS Stretchdown Climb Hoodie is an excellent piece of equipment for use when you really need some warmth during any activity. I like almost everything about it except for the fact that it doesn’t have a chest pocket. The fabric and design of the baffles allow for superior stretch. Sizing is accurate (5’6”, 120 lbs. size small). As in most Mountain Hardwear products, I find the sleeves are too long.

Osprey Daylite Pack
This is a well made pack that will hold the items you need for a day hike - water bottles, snacks, a few items of clothing like a wind shell, hat, or gloves, and doggie treats if needed. It is well made - obviously, just check the brand. Campsaver sent the 2 packs I ordered (one for me and one for my husband) quickly and well packaged. Kudos to a good company with great gear.

I read the reviews of this vest before I purchased it, and I was so excited to find it at a good price. However, the fit is just OFF. I take a small in Patagonia - always - and the small fit me in the length and the chest, but was just too dang baggy in the back and along the sides. Maybe that's how Patagonia designed it so that it would breathe, but the description says "athletic fit", and it wasn't. Was positive I could use this for skate skiing and other aerobic activities, but it just didn't fit the way I wanted it to so I sent it back.

Patagonia Nano-Air Hoody - Womens
I SO wanted to like this hoody. I had ordered a regular nano air hoody from Patagonia, and it was almost perfect - just too hard to get on and off. When I saw this full-zippered version at Campsaver for such a great price, I immediately ordered it, but it just felt too bulky - not as slim a fit as the plain hoody. I thought about keeping it, but in the end, I had to send it back..
